• Fisher email use (Thursday, January 19, 2012)
  
  Dear students,
  
  This is a reminder that you are required to use your Fisher email in all communications with the College.  Please access your email regularly to avoid missing important information.  Staff and faculty will reach you via your Fisher email address only, so it is your sole responsibility to manager your Fisher email account.  Passwords expire every 42 days, so be sure to follow the instructions when you receive an email notifying you of an upcoming expiration. 
  
  If you become locked out of your Fisher email you may contact the IS Help Desk at 617-236-5464, or if you are a DCE student you may contact your Student Services Representative or Site Coordinator. 
  
  In addition, you should change the email associated with your Blackboard account to reflect your Fisher email address.  To do this, choose Personal Information from the tools menu located on the main Bb page, then Edit Personal Information.

• Elluminate Live is now Blackboard Collaborate (Friday, January 13, 2012)
  
  Our synchronous learning tool now has a new name.  Elluminate Live has been upgraded to Blackboard Collaborate.  Bb Collaborate looks almost identical to Elluminate Live, but with many enhanced features.  It is much more intuitive and user friendly, but it still has the same look and feel as Elluminate Live so there is no need to panic. You will not need to learn a whole new technology!
